Charelle Grgas

Charelle moved to Mount Pleasant about 4 years ago, with her husband and two boys. She is originally from Westchester, NY, where her Yoga foundation and her fitness journey began.
Charelle has a strong ballet background, having studied at The School of American Ballet in New York City. Her extensive ballet training has contributed to her discipline, posture and form. Although Charelle finds Bikram yoga to be one of the most challenging workouts, other forms of yoga and exercise, such as Soul Cycle and Hot HIIT Pilates, have helped to increase her stamina and endurance.
Incorporating Hot HIIT Pilates into her weekly routine created the most complete workout by ensuring that every muscle in her body was used. Her passion for yoga, coupled with her love for helping others, were deciding factors that motivated her to enroll in a teacher- training program. That course led to her certification as a Hot HIIT Pilates Instructor in November 2021.
Charelle considers Hot HIIT Pilates to be a natural compliment to the current methods of movement used in yoga studios. “This practice burns fat and creates long, lean muscle mass, with rapid results. It is paired with upbeat music, making it a full-body, beat-based-burn. Through consistent practice, you will gain health and flexibility, increase neuromuscular control, promoting good posture & strength, while improving circulation throughout your body.”
