Hot Pilates is Coming to BYC

Okay, this is new and exciting: Hot Pilates classes are coming to Bikram Yoga Charleston! We are so excited to bring this opportunity to our yoga students. Pilates exercises provide strength and cardio work that nicely compliment your yoga practice. And … they are just 60 minutes long at 15 degrees COOLER than you are used to in Bikram class!

We will introduce Hot Pilates by offering 2 FREE CLASSES:
Thursday, Aug. 18 12:30 – 1:30
Sunday, Aug. 21, 3:00 – 4:00

Following that, the first regular Hot Pilates class will be
Friday, Aug. 26, 6:00 – 7:00 pm

Hot Pilates classes will be offered at various times throughout September, and then become part of the regular schedule by the end of October. Class times will be posted in advance.

60 Minutes long
90 Degrees
Mat needed; Towel optional
Core, cardio, arm and butt/hip/thigh work
FREE for members; Regular price for non-members

Place: Sullivan’s Island Beach at the Sand Dunes access trail, 1735 Atlantic Ave.
Bring: Mat for Yoga Class

Directions: On Sullivan’s Island, take Middle Street toward the Light House (southwest, toward the setting sun). Just past the Light House, turn LEFT on Station 18. Go to the stop sign and turn RIGHT on Atlantic Ave. Go about 2 blocks and the Sand Dunes Club will be on your left. Pass by the big white building and park along the street, in the field, on Atlantic Ave. or on side streets. Follow the trail to the beach.

Beverages? Alcohol is prohibited on the beach and the FINES are stiff … but … if it is in a plastic cup, then normally, no questions are asked.

If I can’t make the yoga class, can I still come to the bonfire? Of course!

Can I bring a friend? Absolutely.
